Rayados suffered a surprising and painful defeat in the Leagues Cup. Tano Ortiz’s team, the last surviving Mexican club left in the tournament, lost the semi-final 0-2 to Nashville. Two lapses at the back was enough to punish the Liga MX side.threw For all their possession of the ball, Monterrey were not clinical enough in front of goal and second half goals by Sam Surridge and Fafa Picault put the game beyond them.
