A great night of action is expected this weekend, as MMA fans will be able to enjoy another exciting card in New Jersey, where UFC 302 will be held.

Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier will showcase the card in a clash of styles that promises to bring all the action and excitement in the main event.

The Russian is the current lightweight king and will try to retain his belt for the first since defeating former featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski in back-to-back clashes. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s disciple and friend is a big favorite to come out on top. However, Poirier recorded another impressive performance in his last fight, beating Benoit Saint-Denis in style.

It will be the third time the Louisiana native will fight for the title, after losing to Charles Oliveira and Nurmagomedov. Will he make history this time around?
