NFL Upset Picks 1: Broncos Over Lions
Denver had been riding a five-game winning streak before dropping a 22-17 result in Houston in Week 13. But they were right back into the win column last week going to Los Angeles and beating the Chargers 24-7. Their offense may not be prolific, but they’ve still scored 20-plus points in each of those six wins, averaging 23.2 PPG in their past seven, including the loss.
That could easily continue here against a Lions team that looks to be fading, Specifically defensively, where they’ve allowed 28, 28, 29, 26 and 38 points in their last five games. Last week in Chicago, they struggled offensively as well while dealing with offensive line injuries, and they lost 28-13 to the Bears. They could still have those injury problems this week with C Frank Ragnow and LT Taylor Decker both questionable.
NFL Upset Picks: Broncos (+175)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, currently at 6-7, and had lost six of seven before last week, currently hold first place in the NFC South.

NFL Upset Picks 2: Buccaneers Over Packers
It’s a short week for Green Bay coming off of their Monday Night Football 24-22 defeat in New York. They’ll have a little less time to pick up the pieces and for several of their injured players to be ready for this game.
As of this writing, four defensive starters plus three backups are all questionable to play. On the offense, that number is six and includes both running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dhillon, plus three wide receivers. Jordan Love is certainly staring at the possibility of having very little to work with.
The Bucs have four players questionable on defense themselves, but otherwise, outside of WR Chris Godwin, look relatively healthy offensively.
The Bucs are riding a two-game winning streak and don’t often lose by margin, also making them a good bet in your teaser picks. The Packers don’t often win by margin themselves. These teams may be closer in skill than most may think, making the value on the Bucs for this week’s NFL upset picks.

Dak Prescott’s thoughts on being mentioned as an MVP front-runner: “That this team, we’re doing the right thing. We’re winning games, first and foremost. What I play for is at the end of the year, we’re one of the last teams and being the last team standing. Obviously, if my name… pic.twitter.com/zxednXNcS2

NFL Upset Picks 3: Cowboys Over Bills
Two good teams here but one, at least by record is clearly better. That would be Dallas at 10-3 compared to Buffalo at 7-6.
On one had, the Bills just took down the defending champs Kansas City 20-17 last week. They took the runners-up Philadelphia to overtime the week prior losing 37-34 and they’re 5-2 at home. But this is still a Bills team that has losses to the Patriots and Jets on their resume, plus only barely edged past the Giants. Josh Allen is second in touchdown passes, but also leads the league in interceptions alongside Sam Howell with 14. Allen has now thrown a pick in nine straight games.
That’s not a good recipe for success against a Dallas defense that is fifth in pass defense, seventh in interceptions, eighth in sacks and eighth in blitz rate. They could be in Allen’s face all day.
This is also a Dallas team that cruised past the Eagles last week 33-13 and have scored 41, 45, 33 and 49 points in their past five games, all wins. Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb look like the top QB-WR duo at the moment with Dak throwing 22 touchdowns in his last seven games, making him number one overall, while Lamb has found the endzone in five straight games.
But then Dallas has just one win against a team with a winning record this season. It did come last week though so perhaps that narrative is changing.
